Learner Creator Educator
Valeria is a life-long learner who feels most complete when she is growing her understanding of ideas, people, and her environment. She strives to remind people in her environment, every day, that "The capacity to learn is a gift, the ability to learn is a skill, and the willingness to learn is a choice" -Brian Herbert. Valeria continually chooses to learn as much as possible, not worrying about the WHY but, trusting that one day it will come in handy.
Ms. Valeria graduated from the University of Florida in 2008 with an Animal Science Biology Degree, served as A Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama in 2009. Since 2014 she has taught science in formal classroom settings. Valeria completed her Masters in Instructional Technology in 2017. Whether it's formal or informal learning, she always craves more.
Valeria loves creating content. Sometimes she finds herself creating for students, writing children's books from thoughts that cross her mind, or illustrating and sketchnoting ideas her own ideas share with the world. Other times she can be found helping others who need a HAND in sharing their message in tangible, memorable, and unique ways.
Creating learning experiences energizes her! Through the process of communicating and sharing, she feels most connected to the world around her.
